We had our 20 week sonogram yesterday and found out we are having a baby girl! Her name is Maggie-Kate. (We haven't completely decided if we will hyphenate the name or not)We are very excited. Yesterday Mitchell went with us to pick out her "going home" outfit. Man there is so much more to choose from when shopping for a girl. Stephen's mom took me shopping yesterday too and we got her this sweet little dress from Ella Bella and of course a giant bow to match. More importantly than her gender, Maggie-Kate looks great. She is growing at a perfect rate and looks to be very healthy. God is so good!

Congrats!! That is sooooo exciting. I love the name you guys picked out too... very sweet. I can't wait to meet her.
I have been checking your blog anxious to see what you were going to have. I am so excited that you are having a little girl. I love the name and think it is so appropriate. I can't wait to see pictures of baby McBroom with a big bow in her hair. Congratulations!!!!
This Maggie is SOOOO excited to meet Maggie-Kate. I Love the dress and I love little Mitchy, he looks SO happy! He has no idea what is in store!!!!!

Yeah! Everyone should be able to have one of each :) I shop for so many baby showers and you are so right, there are so many more choices for girls, but they have come a long way for boys. Congratulations! May the Lord just continue to bless you with a healthy pregnancy.

P.S. - Mitchy made a cameo in my dream last night....I don't remember why he was there (you guys weren't), but he made the kissy noise that we couldn't get him to do the other day! Haha!

We need more girls in the family! The boys were starting to catch up! That is so neat that you are naming her after Maggie and giving her a touch of your name and your grandmother's name! I am sure Mitchell and Stephen will be over protective, but that is what a big brother and dad are for! Congrats, and I am glad she is healthy.
