WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Mitchell's BIG Day

Mitchell had a huge day yesterday! First he has started pulling up. I went to check him in his pack and play when he woke up from his nap and there he was standing and peaking at me from over the top! Silly kid! Second he started saying Dada and Gaga. So now he can call me instead of just mama. That makes me very happy. Finally, Mitchell has gotten his first baby tooth out. It is very cute! It is right in the center of his lower gum. So cute! This kid just finds knew ways to impress me every day! I couldn't be prouder! He really wants to be ready when his lil bro or sis comes to town. God Bless!

6 Months Old???

Mitchell thinks 6 months is not cool enough so he decided to pretend to be 8 months old. I guess at 8 months he will decide to start marathon training.

6 Months Old!

Mitchell is now 6 months old. He weighs 18.8 pounds and is 28.5 inches long. He is in the 60th percentile in weight and the 97th percentile in height. He is close to out growing his 6-9 clothes. I can't imagine him wearing 12 month clothes, it seems way too soon! Mitchell's doctor wanted us to wait until Mitchell was 6 months old to introduce baby food. He has had so many allergies that he said the longer we wait the less likely he will carry these allergies into his childhood. So he had us start with rice cereal, which Mitchell loves, and now this week we can start the good stuff. I think Mitchell is " thinking finally these people are feeding me something worth eating." He hated his Nutramigen and can tolerate his regular formula but he loves his squash! He would have eaten for hours if I had let him. He opens his moth like a little bird and bounces up and down in his high chair. When I take to long preparing the next bite he let's me know by screaming. He is so funny about it. I am glad he can finally enjoy eating. I think it is going to get better and better as he gets older and gets to try new things. Here are a few pictures of our little eater!

Two of a kind

I got this new program that allows me to morph pictures. It is pretty cool and as you can see does a nice job. Of course morphing Weaver into Maisy is easy since they look so much alike.

The Big Brother

It is so weird to think that Mitchell is a big brother. I feel so good right now that I keep forgetting I am pregnant. I am hoping that this is a good sign of things to come. I am constantly praying for a very uneventful pregnancy. I am about 5-6 weeks along and by this time with my last two pregnancies I was already having problems. We go to the doctor on February 25-which seems like an eternity from now. But time flies when you have a baby and a full time job. So now on to what the big brother is up to .....
We never let Mitchell hang out in just a diaper. I guess we should more often because he thinks it is funny to wear just a diaper. He loves to pat his belly and
seems really happy when he's not wearing clothes. Here is Mitchell playing his piano in only his diaper.

We are so blessed to have such a sweet little boy. He makes life so much fun. And have I mentioned he is sleeping through the night-FINALLY! He slept from 9:00 last night until 8:30 this morning. What a champ. He must know his mommy needs extra sleep these days.

I love these pictures. Stephen was letting Mitchell touch the water in the kitchen sink . He was so serious, studying the water. I think he looks like a zebra baby. Again in only a diaper!

Update on Weaver

Weaver is home from the hospital. They think his seizure was caused by a high fever. The doctor said that he has the flu but should be ok, they just have to keep his fever down. Thank you for your prayers.
