Another update...

They went ahead and sent KK home a while ago. She was given some meds to stop the contractions. They are trying to give Maggie Kate another week. So the c-section has been re-scheduled. This way KK will be 38 weeks- but who knows! With the way things have been going Maggie Kate could come anytime now.
Keep them in your prayers-
Maggie

Update on Maggie Kate

For the past week KK has been having contractions. Today she left school and went to the hospital with contractions coming every 4 minuets. Katie is now dilated to a 1.5 and is being watched on the monitor. If she progresses at all then they will move the c-section up to TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please be praying for sweet Maggie Kate. KK is 37 weeks along and while this is a bit early we know that God will keep Katie and Maggie Kate safe. I will update as soon as we know anything! For now I am going to pack our bags....
Love, Maggie Inlow

Bumble Bee

When I was pregnant with Mitchell, Maisy said I should name the baby Lady Bug if he was a girl or Bumble Bee if he was a boy. So Mitchell has always been our little bumble bee. Maggie gave us Weaver's bumble bee costume that he wore when he was five days old on Halloween. It didn't fit Mitchell by Halloween last year but we put it on him and took some pictures when he was first born. Since then it has hung in his closet. Mitchell was helping me clean out his closet and found it. He though it was a jacket and tried to put it on. Here is what he looked like in his Bumble Bee jacket. He thought it was hilarious!

Now for some baby news....

We are officially in count down mode. 28 days left! I went to the doctor today and everything looks great. She is huge almost 6 pounds already. Man, am I glad I am having a C-section! I have about 3 1/2 weeks of school left and I am still feeling great... just a little tired. My blood presure is perfect and I have only gained 17 pounds. I am cherishing every day I have with Mitchell and smothering him with love before his world is turned upside down. He has learned to say "Baby" but has no clue what is about to happen. We are working on Maggie Kate's room. I will post pictures when we are finished.

Mitchell's Birthday

Here are the very few pictures I have from Mitchell's Birthday. We have TONS of video but my pictures all came out blurry. I will put up the video of him eating cake later this week. (Our computer is going to the shop for a few days). Mitchell was a little timid at first with his cake but once he got going he really got into it! Thanks to all who could make it to his party to celebrate with us! We adore you all. (Leanne, I am sorry you didn't get your invite in time, we wished you, Eric and Sav. could have been there!)

-Mitchell growls when he sees a picture of a lion
-He dances every time music is on.
- He loves the Wiggles
-He pretends to talk on the phone
-Mitchell will no longer eat baby food, only fresh, diced, or chopped foods
-He gives giant slobbery open mouth kisses
-He loves animals
- Is learning to climb on furniture- which means no rest for us

Mitchell makes everyday so much fun. We are so blessed to have him. Here are his one year old pictures. Thank you Aunt Aimee, the pictures are beautiful!

Sprinkler or PURE EVIL!

We thought Mitchell might want to play in the sprinkler this morning while we watered the yard. We thought wrong! Mitchell equates the sprinkler to the Vacuum Cleaner, PURE EVIL!

Mitchell's New Rocking Chair

Stephen's family cleaned out their attic and found Stephen's rocking chair from when he was a baby. He brought it home for Mitchell-who LOVES it! The only problem with it is that Mitchell likes standing in it as much as rocking. I have to watch him like a hawk when he gets near it. Here he is siting in his "new" chair.

Look at that face you can tell he is up to something....
And this is what he was up to.... getting my cell phone off the kitchen counter. After this I put the chair in the other room so I could relax a little.

Mitchell's Favorite Things: Part 1

Mitchell is so delightful. He loves to play and cuddle. I am having so much fun staying home with him. I have been trying to capture Mitchell doing his favorite things the past couple of days. As Emily Young would say : Here we are!

1. Drinking from Daddy and Mommy's straw.
2. Swimming
3. Playing peek-a-boo in the curtains

4. Mitchell's Pooh Car
5. Passies: Mitchell is can't go anywhere without a passy. He sleeps with 5 in his bed because he can't go back to sleep if he can't find one. One day this will be very hard to break but until then I love that he loves his passies!
6. Apple Juice: Mitchell has to have at least 8 oz of juice a day because of his tummy problems. He used to get prune juice in every bottle. Now he gets apple in his sippy cup. He is way too old!

Those are a few of his favorite things. I have about 6 more that I have yet to capture.

God is so good!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God and the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:6
This week has been crazy. On top of Summer Spectacular we received some scary news about Maggie-Kate. At my sono on Monday they told us that there might be something wrong with her heart. My doctor was concerned about this so she scheduled us to see a specialist on Friday. So we waited 4 days praying, along with many other prayer warriors, every time we thought of our sweet baby girl.
Yesterday we saw the specialist and it looks like everything is going to be OK. She does have an arrhythmia but the specialist thinks that it will resolve itself before she is born. Her heart is basically beating perfectly except every once in a while it skips a beat. He said that her heart is just figuring out how to beat. I know that we received this news because all the prayers that went up on behalf of Maggie-Kate. God is so good and has answered so many of our prayers concerning my pregnancies and our children.
Thank you for your prayers.
In other news... Mitchell is now 10 months old and is officially on the move. He has been so funny lately and has only wanted to walk at home, but Saturday while at Ben Tate's engagement party (congratulations Ben and Vanessa) he decided to really start walking. He would walk until he ran into something and instead of falling down he would turn and go the other way. He was almost running he was moving so fast. And of course he was so proud of himself! Here are some pictures I have taken while Mitchell and I have enjoyed our days at home together.

This is Mitchell's new favorite thing to do. He gives his reflection kisses. So sweet!

I thought I would have time to update my blog now that I am not working but I haven't been on my computer in a week because we are so busy. We are getting ready for Summer Spectacular (VBS). The show is going to be great and we are praying it will reach thousands! Here are some pictures of Mitchell in 2 of Mommy's costumes.
